The Messier Objects: A Beginner's Guide is a new book that brings the brightest fuzzy patches of light in the sky, the Messier Objects, into sharp focus. A short introduction to observing techniques leads into a complete encyclopedia of Charles Messier's list of 110 objects. Arranged by optimum viewing season, each object is described in some detail.
